Privacy Policy

Overview

EagleBuddy (“we”, “us”) builds a golf logging app for iOS. We collect the minimum amount of information needed to provide the service. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use advertising trackers.

Information you provide

• Account information: name, username, birthday, and gender, captured when you sign up.
• Authentication identifier: an opaque user id provided by Apple Sign In or Google Sign In. We do not receive your password.
• Profile picture (optional): if you upload one, it is stored in our Supabase Storage and served via a public URL.
• Survey responses: short answers you provide during onboarding to personalize the experience.
• Golf data: practice sessions, ball counts per club, rounds, hole scores, and any related notes you create.

Information collected automatically

• Crash logs and error reports: anonymous diagnostic information sent to our error-tracking provider so we can fix bugs. We do not link this to your golf data.
• Push notification tokens: when enabled, a token is stored so we can send streak reminders. You can revoke this at any time in iOS Settings.

How we use your information

• To provide and operate the app and your personal account.
• To compute and display your statistics, handicap, and streaks.
• To send transactional or optional notifications you opt into.
• To diagnose crashes and improve stability.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted infrastructure providers. They process data only on our behalf and only to provide their service:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
• Apple App Store / TestFlight — distribution and beta testing.

Data retention

We retain your account information for as long as you keep an account. You can request deletion at any time by emailing hello@eaglebuddy.app; we will delete your profile and associated golf data within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Contact us at hello@eaglebuddy.app and we will respond within a reasonable time frame.

Children

EagleBuddy is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app and reflected by an updated effective date above.
